Central Florida · Re-Roofing & Repair · Storm Claims
A roofing contractor Central Florida can actually verify.
Most roofing ads ask you to take their word for it. RoofMastery is built around a credential you can check yourself: founder Corben Hogan is a CPRC — Certified Professional Roof Contractor — one of fewer than 60 roofers in the entire state of Florida to hold it, verified through the Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractors Association (FRSA).
Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractors Association
Why this credential, specifically
A state contractor's license is the floor. CPRC is the ceiling.
Florida requires a roofing contractor to hold a state license to legally operate — that's the baseline every company on your search results page has already cleared. CPRC is different. It's FRSA's voluntary professional certification, and it isn't handed out for paying a fee. Applicants need a minimum of five consecutive years of documented field experience, references from architects, general contractors, and other state-certified professionals who can vouch for their work, and a technical exam covering the parts of roofing that go wrong most often: flashing details, ventilation, code minimums, and material compatibility.
Corben Hogan holds it, scored 98% on the certifying exam, and is one of fewer than 60 roofers in Florida who can say the same. In practice, that shows up in the parts of a roofing job homeowners don't see until something leaks: correctly detailed valleys and penetrations, ventilation that matches the attic instead of a generic spec, and documentation thorough enough to hold up when an insurance adjuster pushes back.

Four services. No upsell menu.
RoofMastery focuses on the roofing work Central Florida homes actually need, done to a standard documented well enough to survive an insurance review.
Re-Roofing
Full tear-off and replacement for shingle, tile, and metal roofs at or past end of life, engineered to current Florida Building Code wind-uplift requirements rather than the minimum a permit will allow.
Roof Repair
Leak diagnosis, flashing and boot repair, storm-damaged shingle and tile replacement, and the kind of targeted fixes that extend a roof's life instead of forcing a premature full replacement.
Storm & Insurance Claims
Documentation, adjuster meetings, and estimate review for wind, hail, and hurricane damage claims — built around Florida's current claim-filing deadlines. Read the full guide →
Maintenance & Inspections
Seasonal inspections, gutter and valley clearing, sealant and flashing checks — the low-cost work that catches problems before Central Florida's summer storm season finds them for you.
Built for this climate, not a generic one
Central Florida roofs fail differently than roofs anywhere else
UV and thermal cycling
Central Florida sees some of the most intense year-round UV exposure in the continental U.S. Shingles here age faster than the same product installed further north — underlayment and ventilation choices matter more, not less.
"Lightning Alley" storm cells
The I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando is one of the most lightning-dense regions in the country, with intense, fast-building afternoon thunderstorms most of the summer — often with hail embedded in cells that never get named.
Hurricane season, June–November
Orlando and the surrounding metro area don't get direct Gulf or Atlantic landfalls every year, but they reliably take wind and rain from storms making landfall elsewhere in the state — and Florida's claim-filing clock starts on the date of loss, not the day you notice the damage.
